Music Paving the Way

Siobhan Townsend is a music lover through and through. From a young age she always knew that the pursuit of an artistic career was what she wanted. Growing up outside of one of the greatest cities in the world; filled with music as a younger child, she starting taking lessons for piano in her local music shop, adding in instruments, then choir, and then shows throughout her school experience.

She has a wide background as a musician performing in several orchestras and a featured soloist on Oboe with the Long Island Philharmonic, and Pit Orchestra across Long Island, before graduating Sachem North High School.

Her passions in music pushed her fully into the world of theatre, pursuing the craft in her higher education and beyond. Siobhan is a KCACTF nominated actress, appearing on stage, in front of the camera, and then behind the scenes. Performing and getting to become someone else and walk in the shoes of others has been the biggest honor, privilege, and teacher.

She fell in love with the world of behind the scenes work in makeup and special effects while growing up having Movie-Thursday's with her dad. Admiring both sides of the artistry involved in the craft. 

She has extensive background in NYSSMA, SCMEA, KCACTF Festivals, and College Audition Techniques.

On the side Siobhan is a self-acclaimed movie buff, lover of all things dark comedy, music production, Halloween, Cirque du Soleil, NY Pizza (thin crust only), and bagels. She hopes to travel to see as much of the world as she can one day with her partner-in-crime Ethan.
